After Sonakshi Sinha‘s decision to work with Kamal Hassan in Viswaroopam, Sonam Kapoor will be the next B-Town babe to take on a film in Kollywood (Yes, that’s what its called). A.R. Murugadoss (who made Ghajini) is making a movie with Tamil heartthrob Vijay (I studied in Chennai and the girls in my college were crazy about the guy, so he’s definitely a legend there) and he wants Sonam to be his leading lady.
Murugadoss, who is busy with post production for his movie, 7am Arivu with Suriya and Shruti Hassan wants to start work on this project real soon. Vijay is currently working on the Tamil remake of 3 idiots. Murugadoss summarized the script for Vijay in one line (that little?) and he is definitely on board.
Media reports claim that the movie will be backed by Fox Star Studios and will be the director’s most ambitious project ever. Sonam was also being considered for a role opposite Vikram (he was in Raavan) in a Tamil movie called Karikalan a while ago but that project never really took off for her. We hope that this project sees the light of day. Is Sonam Kapoor ready for her big debut in South Indian cinema?
