The endless media speculation about Shah Rukh Khan skipping the IIFA awards has finally ended. SRK is in Toronto and he was at his playful best as he charmed his fans at the IIFA Rocks concert. Shah Rukh said, “I am tired of girls giving me a hug. I want a deep passionate kiss.” Karan Johar who co hosted the rock fest with Anushka Sharma and Hrithik Roshan joked about the consequences of such a kiss to which SRK replied, “We are thousands and thousands of miles away. What happens in Toronto, stays in Toronto.”
We also hear that fans got a power packed dose of Bollywood music and Indian fashion at the fashion show which had Brett Lee, Zayed Khan and hottie Rahul Khanna walked the ramp as show stoppers for Rajesh Pratap Singh. Neha Dhupia walked the ramp for the Bay while Sonakshi Sinha was the showstopper for Vikram Phadnis’ ethnic collection. Shankar Ehsaan Loy played some groovy music as the models took over the ramp for a cause.
Jermaine Jackson was at the IIFA Rock concert to pay tribute to Michael Jackson on his second death anniversary. He sang MJ’s greatest hits like Can you feel it, Scream, Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin and Stop pressuring me. Sonu Nigam and Jermaine also sang This is it, a song composed by Sonu as a tribute to the legendary King of Pop. Salman Khan is at IIFA too this time to promote his new venture with UTV movies, Chillar Party. Bollywood had a great time shaking a leg at this rock concert which saw fashion and music come together for charity.IIFA Rocks also had performances by Neha Dhupia, Dia Mirza, Mallika Sherawat and the cast of Double Dhamaal.
