The most Cointreau-versial night the city has seen in a while had all that it takes to be a very memorable one for everybody. A fantastic theme? Check. Fabulous people? Check. Groovy music? Check. A gracious hostess to make it all happen? Check.
The theme was the roaring twenties, what with feather boas, delicate cigarette holders and cat eyes for the ladies and top hats, mustaches and pipes for the men! Dita Von Teese-esque burlesque set the mood for the night as visuals of her splashing in a Cointreau-politian flashed across screens. Malini of MissMalini played the perfect hostess.
A number of ladies wore flapper dresses and inspired headgear:
The men went all out with suspenders, embellished bow ties (courtesy Urvshe) and Top hats with a hint of cointreau citrus flavour.
The lady behind it all looked stunning in a jewel toned plum backless number with an ornate gold yoke by a dear friend, designer Junelia Aguiar, with hair and make up courtesy b:blunt.
