I was in Jaipur recently and the heat was unbearable. My hair was all over the place and to add to the discomfort, I was sweating a lot. So I hopped into the nearest Levi’s store and picked up this cap for approximately Rs 800. It did help the situation and now it’s become my favourite summer accessory.

I bought a black and white striped casual belt from the Todd’s store at the famed Emporio Mall in Delhi. It looks particularly great when teamed with skinny blue jeans or white linen shorts. It’s also something that I will be able to pass on to my son when he grows up. It cost me 8000rs.

I bought an Armani perfume when I was in Auckland recently. It’s a nice, strong perfume and absolutely perfect for a smelly and humid city like Mumbai where you tend to sweat a lot.

In summers, I love to splurge on short dresses. This one in particular is from a boutique in Dubai called Desigual. It costs around Rs 5000. It is made from light stretch-cotton which is just perfect for the Delhi and Bombay summer. I particularly love the geometric-floral print which is quite colourful and funky.

My most recent splurge is the limited edition Chanel lamb-skin mini flap bag in white. It costs over $2000. I just love wearing it everyday – both evening and day – as it goes with my entire summer wardrobe. I have a similar Chanel lamb-skin bag in black as well.

This summer, I bought a pair of D&G sun glasses at Hyderabad airport. My husband owed me a birthday gift (since March. It’s May now) as he finds no time (no inclination either!) to go shopping with me. 8000rs were the damages. So now I’m all set for the summer sun.
