I think it’s quite cool how Bollywood is getting so tech-friendly these days; whether it’s through a social media campaign or a full blown movie website (they’ve been doing it in Hollywood for years) I’m really digging the site: znmdthemovie.com that HulaHoop Design (Samta Kejriwal’s brainchild) has put together for Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.
Here’s what Samta had to say, “Our client Excel Entertainment called us in for briefing two months ago to design and implement an important arm of its marketing for the promotion of its new film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, as a website znmdthemovie.com. Simply put, the brief was: A site which reflects the a narrative of three adventurous and young bachelors on a road trip through Spain. The visits expected were an audience that was young, online savvy, socially networked and adventurous. Keeping the brief in sight, we came up with a simple, quick to load, horizontal scroll idea to imply an adventurous experience of being on the road, through many spanish towns and cities. We added sections with playful interactive segments to reveal elements of the film. Additionally, we planned for it to accommodate new sections that would be thrown in on the site regularly, until the film is released. The site went live last week and the film is set to be released on July 15, 2011.”Waddya think? 🙂 xoxo
