I knew this press conference was going to start at least an hour or two late (but still nowhere as late as Salman Khan’s press-con for Ready!) But it was obviously worth the wait when Shah Rukh Khan made his grand entrance amid the new generation of Bollywood kiddos (Ali Fazal, Giselle Monteiro, Zoa Morani and Satyajeet Dubey) in a very Don-esque outfit – all black and shades-on *drool drool* (more pix here.) He’s also just so damn funny (as you will see from his brilliant responses to some of the dumbest questions I have ever heard from my fellow paparazzos ugh.) My favorite was when some journo asked him how come he is so humble now and he used to have such a big ego to which SRK responded…
“There are days I wake up and I’m feeling very pompous and there are days I’m feeling very humbled… Today is a humble day… kal milna mujhko.”
It’s kinda sad that at these things the mega star often over shadows the movie, but I have to give props to Roshan Abbas for keeping it real and thanking every single member of his cast an crew practically by name. It felt super nostalgic (in a warm and fuzzy way) to see Roshan, Ashwin Mushran, Vikram Sathaye, Shaheen Abbass and a lot of the old crew that I remember from my MTV and early radio days. Its so nice to see everyone doing so well and taking the ones the love along. To the moon Roshan, to the moon! xoxo
