The IIFA Weekend and Awards supported by the Ontario Government have been scheduled for 23rd to 25th June, 2011 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Double Dhamaal is all set to open as the IIFA World Premiere film. The weekend following the premiere will see the spectacular Floriana International Indian Film Academy Awards where Dharmendra will perform with his sons, Sunny and Bobby Deol. Priyanka Chopra is going to perform too at the Rogers Centre!
Dharmendra: “IIFA is a glamourous presentation ceremony and something I look forward to every year. This year will be particularly special for me as I will be performing with my sons for the first time on a live stage. We hope our fans in Canada enjoy it.”
Double Dhamaal is a sequel to Dhamaal and stars Sanjay Dutt, Riteish Deshmukh, Kangna Ranaut, Mallika Sherawat, Arshad Warsi, Javed Jaaferi and Ashish Chowdhry. It is an Indra Kumar, Ashok Thakeria and Reliance Entertainment production. The cast and crew announced the premiere of their film at a press conference in Mumbai. It will be Dharmendra, Sunny and Bobby’s first stage performance together and they will groove to the tunes of Yamla Pagla Deewana.

Videocon’s director Saurabh Dhoot mentioned how glad he was to be associating with IIFA for the 4th year in a row. Sanjay Gupta, CEO, Star India couldn’t be left behind as he commented on the seven year association with IIFA. Rotomac Pens, Lotus Herbal, Grey Goose and PVR Cinemas are the associate sponsors and Air India will be the official Airlines partner. Arvind Jadhav, Chairman and Managing Director, Air India, touted IIFA as the Oscars of Bollywood.
