Advertising guru Prahlad Kakkar and maska chaska girl Vidya Malvade launched the annual skating event the Kalingastone Skatathon, dedicated to spreading the message of peace and harmony through roller skating scheduled for Sunday, May 1st, 2011. The Kalingastone Skatathon will see young prodigy skaters Drishika, Harsh and Mudit embark on their 100 km journey from Panvel at dawn, aiming to reach Wilson College at around noon where they will be joined by close to 200 enthusiastic young skaters, who will accompany them to the completion point at the Gateway of India. So if you see a bunch of teens on wheels you’ll know whats up 🙂
