Designer Payal Jain narrated five stories in her collection at the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2011. Each story represented a mood and the earth, water, fire, air and ether elements. A believer of Hindu mythology, she depicts the Earth with trees, leaves, flowers and colours of nature. They translate vivid Madhubani hand painted prints in warm tones of beige, mocha, chocolate, leaf, forest and jade. The silhouettes flow and drape to enhance the sense of touch. Post the show, she hosted a party at the Chivas Lounge. Sunanda Pushkar Tharoor was spotted attending the show but couldn’t make it to the party on account of being hounded by the media. They were more interested in her opinion on Anna Hazare and IPL Season 4. Those who did make it to the party were Sunil Sethi, Manoj Rajkhosla, Samant Chauhan, Anand Bhushan and Sylvie (Whoa, what a blast from the past!)
