Nijo Avlani: “Huzzah! The much awaited Contest is here! ;D Here I go… He was 17 when he landed himself with an opportunity to work with FM. The youngest RJ at that time – GAURAV KAPUR! Soon after he joined Channel [v] as a video jockey and that’s how everything rolled for this talented Gaurav! I have been a mad mad Gaurav Kapur fan ever since I first saw him Veejaying at Channel [v] I loved his role in Darna Mana Hai and I would want him to shoot two things from a MissMalini.com Flip Video.”
1. “Gaurav Kapur has helped to promote the awareness of Diabetes at a Diabetic Research Cell in Delhi. A guy who was known as a funny person spreading smiles all around did successfully promote awareness of such kind of an aspect, which is really respect worthy. He considers it as a moral responsibility of a person who is in a limelight to take up something that can influence people for their betterment. He was then featured in India Today for the same too. My grandpa has diabetes and I want him to shoot a video for him.. cheering my grandpa to leave all the worries and look a the brighter side of things like Gaurav himself always did. I have always kept a close watch over him since all these years and all my family members know much about him for that reasons. 😉 My grandpa will surely get influenced by his video 🙂 Hitting the “Submit Comment” tab, with my left hand fingers tightly crossed and my soul already dreaming of the Flip Fantasy land!”
2. “Since he could not do the last scene in the movie Darna Mana Hai… coz of date problems Ram Gopal Varma had apologized to him. I really wish that apology scene should have been shot. I can imagine that situation and his expressions! 😉 It would have been really funny and little awkward for him..”
P.S. I also love that when I announced that contest winners were coming yesterday Nijo posted this comment on my blog, “Can’t wait! I just woke up and read this on my cellphone and my eyes full of sleep suddenly got wide open! Haha! 😉 what a beginning to this controversial day! ;D
