Earlier on in the week we announced that CEOs of top companies were going to sing for their supper. Well we weren’t kidding, they actually did, and they did a great job of it. They sang songs from Elvis to the beetles to the great Bollywood classics, giving the audience a lot to enjoy. Prabhakar Mundkur, (CEO Percept/H), said “I am so happy to be able to contribute to the laudable mission of Genesis Foundation and to be able to help in making a difference to the lives of critically ill children”. He sang a medley of songs by Beatles and ‘Your Song’ by Elton John. Yes, businessmen can be interesting, who knew?! They all helped raise funds for 7 critically ill children requiring heart surgeries, bone marrow transplants for thalassemia and complex surgeries to deal with extreme deformities. At the end of the night the judges Lillete Dubey, Himanshu Kohli and Tina Sethi selected Ashwin Deo, (Managing Director, Trinity Vintners Pvt) Ltd. as the Grey Goose Singer of the Evening.
