I managed to pack in three events back-to-back yesterday since this one started at sunset. Blue Sea, by the way is a fabulous open air venue on Worli sea-face, their sundown cocktails (including some creative juices on offer like sugarcane) culminated in a trendy fashion show for the French apparel brand Celio. Achla Sachdev choreographed a slew of male models and I spotted a few new faces this time. While I was watching the show it occurred to me that for some reason a lot of our male models look like Hindi film villains (or pre nose-job TV actors) so spotting a new cutie was quite a treat! (More pix here.) Unfortunately when I went backstage to get a video of Mr. Cute for you all I ran into was Mr. Creepy (of “lets dance together at the next party” fame lol.) Aditya Roy Kapoor (who I thought was super adorable in Action Replayy, doesn’t he look like he’s looking at me?!) and Rahul Bose walked the ramp too, while the Midival Punditz spun live. Anushka Dandekar looked quite propah in her pin stripes and pulled off looking suitably interested in all the corporate speil pretty convincingly!
Psst! I met the stars of Always, Kabhi Kabhi (produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment company) Ali Fazal and Satyajeet Dubey. Cute to see their excitement and anticipation for the film, they were sweet enough to give me Flip video bytes too!

Verdict on the clothes:

Very wearable menswear with a refreshing, comfy  look & feel. I’d go shopping at Celio for my guy, especially for all  their yummy t-shirt hues! In fact Junelia Aguiar even pointed out that one of the t-shirts was in Pantone’s color of the year for 2011 known as “honeysuckle”.
