What a fun night last night! Carol Gracias hosted the launch of TsingTao beer at Bonobo with the Chinese Consul-General. Watch the video for the shpiel but the two things that stand out most in my memory are a) a joke that really cracked me up about inappropriate conversation with someone from China; Indian guy, “I really love Chinese Food.” Chinese guy, “thanks, in China we just call it food.” HAHAHAHA and b) Gaurav Kapur’s brilliant observation – which ended up as his Facebook status today, “The reason I don’t party too much in Mumbai is coz it seems like the same party’s been going on for the last 5 years. The EXACT SAME party! … except that people change their clothes every now & then.” Lol
