Sarayu Srivatsa just launched her book The Last Pretence at Olive, Bandra. She’s a trained architect and city planner from the Madras and Tokyo Universities, was the editor of Indian Architect and Builder and has written extensively on the evolution and growth of cities. Her novel however grapples with notions of love, gender and sexuality (which I suppose do make up much of the architecture of this city so I guess that works!)
