Ok I admit it, I go to Fashion Week to see the show stoppers more than (if not as much as) the clothes sometimes. But its exciting right? You never know which designer has bagged what star until the rumors start doing the rounds. Clearly Aamby Valley India Bridal Week pulled out all the stops to pull enough B-Town traffic to keep the shows (and their show stoppers)  in Vogue. Here’s a run down of B-Town at Bridal Week, strutting their stuff much to everyone’s delight!

Zeenat Aman for Riyaz Gangji

Zeenat Aman wore a  maroon swirling tissue lehenga with an ornate Raja coat accompanied by Arjun Bajwa the star of ‘Fashion’ in an embroidered maroon sherwani.

Diya Mirza for Rocky S.

Dia Mirza appeared in an ethereal white net lehenga worn with a corset and dazzling dupatta with silver crystals and zari work.

Neha Dhupia for Falguni & Shane Peacock

Neha Dhupia wore a gold floral embroidered gown with a bare back moulded top and red net dupatta.

Kangana Ranaut for Anjalee & Arjun-Kapoor

Kangana Ranaut walked the ramp in a salmon pink colored trail lehenga with silver crystallized ornamentation. The fish scaled – inspired lehnga had the designer’s signature bejeweled look. The lehnga was paired with a ruffled top and jeweled gloves.

Amrita Rao for Archana Kochhar

Amrita Rao wore a Mughal-e-Azam inspired red velvet lehenga with a panelled long sleeve angarkha.

Raageshwari for Riyaz-Gangji

Plus honorable mention to Raageshwari Loomba who looked radiant in a glittering silver lehenga with a delicate lace bustier. I’m ever-impressed by her valiant recovery from Bell’s Palsy, you go girl!
