I don’t know a whole lot about classical or fusion music but I’ve always found concerts like this to be quite magical. Tonight Seagram’s 100 Pipers – A Sequel to Melange takes place at the NCPA, Mumbai amalgamating six world-class musicians to create the magic of a pure music concert series. Featuring the legendary Nishat Khan on sitar, Trilok Gurtu on percussion, Larry Coryell on guitar, Lili Haydon on violin, Frank Martin on keyboard and Itai Disreali on bass guitar, Melange has been touring Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and New Delhi between the 20th and the 31st of October ’10.
