If you were about to be totally bummed out by Maharashtra’s random dry days I have good news, tonight isn’t one! In fact there’s a great gig on at the Hard Rock Cafe if you’re looking for something to do… Something Relevant are launching their first ever music video. ‘City in a Situation’ from their first album ‘Feels Good 2B Live’ (2009 – Silk Road, Universal).
Directed by Payal Kapadia and Naina Panemanglore (their interview here) and shot by Vikas Munipalle.
According to Something Relevant, “The film follows us around town as we make our way to a gig despite the various encounters that prevent us from doing so. Shot on location in our amazing city, Mumbai; we hope this gives you a taste of what the band is all about. A big thanks to everyone involved in the process of making this video and the super audience at Zenzi Mills on the night of the shoot.
We’re playing new songs from our sets at the Edinburgh Fringe (on the soon to be released ‘Live at the Fringe’ album). This gig is going to be ace!”
Watch the Teaser, Download the album on iTunes and check out some sneaky stills on Facebook!
Time: 9.30 onwards
Entry: 150rs
Psst! I like all their Mumbai-flavored event banners so much I posted them all, which one do you like best? Leave me a comment 🙂
