Apparently yesterday Deepika Padukone met the legendary Shammi Kapoor at his home in Walkeshwar, Mumbai and ended up spending more than two hours with him and his family. Yes of course that’s cool but are you forgetting that these are Ranbir Kapoor’s peeps, how weird is that? (Always awkward when you your folks like your ex more than you, doh!)
Incidentally Shammi was all praises for Deepu’s performance in Om Shanti Om and Love Aaj Kal and even told her he is an ardent fan! When asked about the meeting however Deepika was reluctant to speak about the meeting and said, “I don’t want to discuss our conversation as it is personal and I would like to keep it that way. It was fun and I had a great evening. He took good care of me and we chatted over coffee and some good food.”
