Yes I was in Goa, again. Don’t hate me it was a work trip…um ok just realized that this may in fact make you hate me more, but anyway… 🙂 I wanted to fill you in on a few new hot spots I stumbled upon in South Goa (mostly in the Majorda area) Ready?
Psst! Big love to the entire Channel [v] crew for the most rocking office off-site I’ve ever been on. SOOOoooo much fun, it really felt like a college trip and I want to do it all over again! Rocking yaar.
And in case you missed it check out part 1 of the series: Things you should do the next time you’re in Goa, (I can’t wait to go back and collect info for part 3!)
Alila Diwa
Thanks to captain Kirk’s awesome recce we stayed at Alila Diwa, a luxury boutique resort in Goa. Awesome rooms, awesome food, awesome infinity pool (that looks over the garden not exactly the sea but whatever) and awesome strawberry margaritas! Don’t forget to take a buggy ride down to Majorda Beach and grab lunch at Martin’s!
Zeebop
Its a shack on the beach but oh so much fun! The only thing I’d do perhaps is give the resident crooner a night off and blast some hip hop (much more becoming for a shack named Zeebop I feel) but we got by with copious amounts of alcohol and my repertoire of drinking games 🙂
Club Margarita
While looking for this place its best to just ask for “Colva” and you will soon find yourself parked outside the cutest little club in town. The decor inside is right out of That 70’s Show and the DJ appears to be flying a space shuttle* (what is it with me and funky DJ booths this week? Wait till I tell you about the elevator DJ at Hawaiian Shack!) The best bit? They play hip hop and Bollywood. (A deadly combination and admittedly my favorite kind!) #WIN
*Thanks to Nitasha’s astute sense of perception via the comments we now know that the space shuttle is in fact a Margarita glass with the Romanov sign on the straw. Aha! See this makes so much more sense 🙂
