I got this comment on my blog about Isha Kopikar’s outfit to the Aer launch on Saturday; “Doesn’t Isha’s dress/gown remind you of Shilpa Shetty’s reception outfit? Was Tarun Tahilliani the designer? Isha’s even wearing a similar clutch! I see a copy cat!” so I had to investigate. I guess you could get away with the dress… (who’s it by? When in doubt ask the girls over at High Heel Confidential; the dress is by Neeta Lulla, ohh and she wasn’t the only one playing ditto btw check this out!), but you’re spot on about the egg (I know it might be all terribly fashionable and everything but please nobody ever buy me a clutch that looks like that! I have enough trouble juggling my phone, flip and camera to have to then worry about dropping the crystal terror everywhere I go.) FYI the French call it a “miniaudière” but then again the French have taken being fou-fou to whole other level, but the real reason I posted this is because I don’t know if you noticed my dearest s but Isha’s middle name is now Isha “Kopi – kar” Narang, maybe she’s just living up to her title. Lol!
Lost in Translation? Kopi sounds like copy, kar=do 🙂Didjya Know?
The term “clutch” is also used to describe the collective eggs that a bird lays at one time. For example, if a bird lays 5 eggs, then she has laid a clutch of 5. I suppose that makes sense then.
