Hold everything people! I just got the best compliment from CNNGo no less! I made the Top 20 Hot-list for people to watch in Mumbai along with comic Vir Das, young politician Priya Dutt Roncon, animator Nikhil Patil, novelist Chetan Bhagat, visual jockey Dhanoy Pilo, Palladium genie Gayatri Ruia, CEO Bombay Stock Exchange Madhu Kannan, curator Abhay Maskara, hat designer Shilpa Chavan, former Indian hockey captain Viren Rasquinha, composer & musician Ashutosh Phatak, satirist Anuvab Pal, nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar, resteraunter Riyaaz Amlani, celebrity tweeter/actress Gul Panag, design dramatist Kapil Gupta, world cinema aficionados Gautam Shiknis & Mo Polamar, UTV Chief Creative Officer Vikas Bahl and lawyer & philanthropist Sachin Malhan. Now that’s what I call some seriously elite company (and can I be all smug now and remind you how I told you about so many of them way back when? I was watching baby, I was watching.) Anyway, thank you for supporting my blog, I am feeling the love and I owe it all to you (and your daily visits!) And now that my basking-in-my-ego-fest is over, on to business! Like I said I was pretty impressed by the Palladium at Phoenix Mills (nice to put a face to the project now too) and you can add this to my new nightlife update: The Comedy Store (
which helped to make stars of Ben Elton, Eddie Izzard, Jo Brand and Paul Merton)
will be opening up at the Palladium soon and the Four Seasons is getting a seriously swanky roof-top bar with a view of Bombay the likes of which you may never have seen! (Although if you can afford the Four Season chances are you probably have your own helicopter anyway.)
Psst! Even more reason to come to my party now innit?! Please rsvp by November 18th 5pm so I can submit my guest list! Everybody gets in free and Tough on Tobacco has promised to compose & perform the MissMalini theme song!
