So, we reached out to Dietician Vidhi Chawla, Founder of Fisico Diet Clinic, and asked her to share her expert inputs on superfoods we can eat to stay healthy during our 30s. Matcha Tea

Its energising and anti-inflammatory properties can help you improve your workout. It also protects the liver, promotes heart health,, and boosts brain function.
Ashwagandha Or Indian Ginseng
Ashwagandha is categorised under ‘adaptogens’ or non-toxic plants. It is herb that contains many medicinal and health benefits. It is an excellent source of antioxidants and also helps in improving testosterone levels in men.
Tulsi Or Holy Basil
Tulsi is revered as an ‘elixir of life’. It has many medicinal and spiritual benefits. It fights cancer, protects the body against harmful toxins, improves physical, mental, and metabolic stress, strengthens immunity, purifies blood, and so on. It should be consumed daily as it promotes general health, longevity, and well-being.
Chia Seeds
These tiny seeds have high nutritional value as well as other medicinal benefits. Chia seeds are a great source of antioxidants, promote weight loss, reduce blood sugar levels along with the risk of heart disease. The reason everyone above the age of 30 should consume chia seeds is that they increase bone mineral density, as they contain many important bone nutrients such as calcium, phosphorus, and magnesium.
Alsi or Flax Seeds
Flax seeds are nutrition-packed with fiber, omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin B, antioxidants, and cancer-fighting lignans. These seeds contain two types of dietary fiber—soluble for up to 20–40% and insoluble for up to 60–80% which makes them useful for preventing constipation and irritable bowel syndrome or diverticular disease.

Almonds boast an impressive nutrient profile. They contain a lot of healthy fats, fiber, nutrients, and minerals. The health benefits include lower blood sugar levels and cholesterol levels. They can also reduce hunger and promote weight loss.
Quinoa
This versatile and incredibly easy-to-prepare superfood contains a high value of fiber, minerals, antioxidants, and all nine essential amino acids. It helps in improving metabolic health, controls blood sugar as it has low glycemic index, is naturally gluten-free and controls cholesterol levels.
