Sidharth Malhotra has been shooting for his upcoming film, Mission Majnu in Lucknow since February. The spy thriller set in the ’70s involves many action sequences as Sidharth plays a spy on a mission. Recently, while shooting a scene, Sidharth reportedly injured his knee. However, the actor endured it all and continued shooting the scenes.
According to a source, while shooting a jump action sequence, the actor slipped and hit his knee on metal. Instead of stopping the shooting, the actor did a lot of icing and medication and finished the action sequences. He went on to shoot for the next three days to ensure that the shoot does not get disrupted since they have been working with a retro setup.
Meanwhile, since the shoot of Mission Majnu began, Sidharth had been sharing sneak-peaks on his social media from Lucknow. When South actress Rashmika Mandanna joined him for the shoot, the duo took their social media to share several pictures on their social media and left the fans even more curious. For the unversed, Mission Majnu also marks Rashmika’s Bollywood debut.
