Kangana Ranaut has been making headlines every other day for the explosive statement she makes regarding the Hindi film industry. There has been a war of words that broke out between actress and Shiv Sena politician Sanjay Raut. Recently, Kangana had claimed that Mumbai was starting to feel like Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) and many had taken offense to the statement. She had further said that she feared the Mumbai police more than what she called the movie mafia. Sanjay Raut and many Shiv Sena leaders had sworn to not let Kangana into Mumbai after what she said. There were videos of many women who took to protesting against Kangana by smearing her posters and placards with black paint and beating it with slippers.

After the severe backlash she received from both the Shiv Sena and many residents in Mumbai, Kangana released a video on her social media lashing out at Sanjay Raut for allegedly calling her a ‘Haraamkhor ladki’ by stating that it is precisely this kind of mindset that allows women to be murdered or raped or treated down in our society. She also announced that she is arriving in Mumbai on 9th September and will face the consequences she has to.

Take a look at the video:

After this, news reports suggest that the Centre has approved Y+ level security for Kangana Ranaut ahead of her visit to Mumbai through one of the paramilitary personnel. The actress’s father recently spoke to Outlook and had been worried for her safety following this war of words and had requested that centre to take responsibility for his daughter’s safety.
