Several Bollywood celebrities including actors Swara Bhasker, Taapsee Pannu and filmmaker Anubhav Sinha among others, criticised media for mobbing Rhea Chakraborty and defying all standard protocols amidst COVID-19 pandemic as she reached the NCB office on Sunday.
Rhea Chakraborty, who is accused of abetting Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide by his family, reached the NCB for quizzing in the drugs case linked to the tragic death of the actor.
According to the pictures and videos that are going viral on the social media, the 28-year-old actor was seen being pushed and jibed at by the media as she made her way to the NCB.
Several Twitter users including bollywood personalities slammed the media for such beahviour.
Taapsee Pannu took to her Twitter to lament the treatment being meted out to Rhea Chakraborty in this case. Her tweet read, “In the name of Justice these people have lynched a human being off her right to live even before proven guilty. I sincerely pray Karma finds the address of each n every human being part of this lowest low of mankind we are witness to. “
