It’s the weekend guys and a lot happened this week. While we got to hear the sad news about the demise of NBA player, Kobe Byrant, the Grammy’s took place too. One of the thing that was the highlight about the event was, Priyanka Chopra. The global star made sure she turned heads when she donned the plunging neckline dress designed by Ralph And Russo. It was every bit gorgeous and we couldn’t stop staring at her. While she managed to stun all of us, one question that a lot of people had was how did the Desi Girl manage to keep the dress so well fitted without having a wardrobe function.
Priyanka recently spoke to US Weekly and revealed how she managed to keep the dress intact with the help of ‘tulle’.
Priyanka said,
So as much as people might think it would be hard to manage, they found this incredible tulle the same colour as my skin tone and sort of held the dress together with that. So you can’t even see it in the pictures but there was no way it would have happened if they didn’t have that. It was like netting.
She further added that the designers always keep such mishaps in their mind when they design a dress for her.
Ralph and Russo, whenever they make couture for me or custom outfits for me, they always do them fitted to my body, keeping these things (wardrobe malfunction) in mind. When I decide to wear an outfit, I’m not someone who’s really nervous because when I walk out of the door, I’m very secure. I don’t leave unless I’m super secure. I don’t like wardrobe malfunctions! Nobody does!
It’s brilliant to know that so much of hard work goes behind a red carpet look.
