Yesterday, Shilpa Shetty made a faux pas when she called George Orwell’s Animal Farm, a sweet book which will teach children to love and care about animals. The book is actually about communism. Obviously, Twitter started using her logic and began explaining books like Fight Club and Catch 22 and made #ShilpaShettyReviews a top trending topic all over the world.
Shilpa took to social media and clarified her comment.
Whilst I admire the writers of LOTR, Harry Potter & Animal Farm I’ve “NEVER” read these books(@ the cost of soundin even dumber!)Not my kind

..So recommending them to kids is out of the question! Obviously some misunderstanding..Don’t want to get into it.This too shall pass. ????????

She then put this up on her Instagram –
And laughed at a joke –

Her husband Raj Kundra tweeted about this too –
People wait for a chance to pounce! Chill don’t believe everything you read in the press! I have shared real vs reel #ShilpaShettyReviews
