Chitrangda Singh, who had been missing from the scene for a while, recently caught everyone’s attention with a super fun magazine photoshoot. And then the actress was busy shooting for her next, Kushan Nandy‘s Babumoshai Bandookbaaz opposite Nawazzudin Siddiqui. According to SpotboyE, the director of the film ordered the actress to shoot an explicit sex scene in a rather inappropriate manner.
A source told the website:
“Kushan got a bit too engaged in the scene in question, which required Nawaz to only pull Chitrangada roughly on the bed and realise that someone is watching them. Kushan was not happy with the first take. He thundered: Chitrangada, you ought to get literally on top of Nawaz. Tange ragdo and sex karo.”
Apparently, that didn’t go down too well with the actress and she snapped at the filmmaker. Kushal replied asking Chitrangada to step aside and talk about it privately. But she had already lost her cool by then. Reportedly, she shot back saying, “Now that you have started it in front of so many people, why end it in a place away from them? What do you think of yourself, Kushan?” After that, it seems Chitrangada completed the shot in three takes and left the set in tears. She later called Nawaz and informed him about her decision to walk out of the movie.
But a friend of Kushan asserted that these are all ‘blatant lies’ and Chitrangda was asked to leave the movie because she wasn’t performing well.
