Mastizaade is a sex comedy directed by Milap Zaveri. The movie stars Sunny Leone, Tusshar Kapoor and Vir Das. The story revolves around two perverted men, Sunny Kele (Tusshar) and Aditya Chothia (Vir), who fall in love with twin sisters Laila Lele and Lily Lele (Sunny). The twists in their love stories come when Lily is engaged to be married to another man and Laila is super horny for Sunny but refuses to say ‘I love you’.
Well, nothing about this movie is tempting enough to make you want to watch it unless you’re a fan of Sunny. She is the sole reason this movie will make whatever money it can. The director of this movie knew this very well and he has done everything… literally EVERYTHING he could to make the most of this one sex comedy. This movie feels like it has been made by someone who has just hit puberty and has finally got the freedom to crack all the lame sex jokes that sounded funny in his head.
The movie is a drag, it’s boring and there is nothing new. While making a sex comedy is actually a step forward, the makers have definitely gone backward when it comes to showing homosexuality in cinema. It’s overboard and completely stereotypical. There is so much over-exploitation of sex jokes that they didn’t even leave animals out of their ambitions of sexualizing everything. Like, poor donkeys and horses 🙁
Yes, puns are fun but not to forget, an excess of everything is bad! And that’s what is in this movie – excess of puns, pervs, sex, boobs, boobs and more boobs. There is no good story, music or acting. The lack of humour in this wannabe comedy is its biggest flaw!
My suggestion: please don’t waste your time on this movie unless a horny uncle is what you are. Sunny is hot but Mastizaade… is NOT!
