It’s 2:30pm on Filmfare day and almost all the celebrities know by now what they’re going to wear tonight. While a lot of them have had it planned for weeks, some of them pull it off quite last minute but still manage to look spot on. Last year we saw Sonam Kapoor turn heads in Anamika Khanna and Deepika Padukone wore a whole lot of ruffles in the form of her Ashi Studio dress. While we can never be sure of what they’ll wear until they actually show up on the red carpet, here’s what their stylists had to say…
Sonam Kapoor
She’ll be styled by Rhea Kapoor, as always, and her top picks for the evening are between Anamika Khanna, Elie Saab and Rohit Bal. My bets are on Elie Saab.
Athiya Shetty
Athiya has mostly zeroed in on a Monisha Jaising number for tonight, and she’s being styled by Ami Patel.
Sooraj Pancholi
Meanwhile, her co-star Sooraj will be styled by the Vainglorious in a tonal striped suit from Zegna with a bow-tie, and shoes from Grenson.
Aditi Rao Hydari
We always love what Aditi wears and tonight, she seems to have picked Gauri & Nainika. She will be styled by Sanam Ratansi.
Esha Gupta
Another one on our watch list is Esha Gupta. She will be styled by Aastha Sharma and Mohit Rai in either Gaurav Gupta, Temperley London or Monisha Jaising.
Anil Kapoor & Fawad Khan
They’re both being styled by Abhilasha Devnani in either Dior, Corneliani or Canali.
Kriti Sanon
Nikhil Thampi is the official designer for the Filmfare awards and will be styling a bunch of celebrities. Mostly, we hear Kriti Sanon will be wearing his clothes and is being styled by Tanya Ghavri. This is another one on our must-watch list.
Huma Qureshi
Huma is being styled by Esha Amin for the awards and will either wear Mayyur Girotra, Isabel Marant or Sonaakshi Raaj.
And these are just a few! We still don’t know what Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh will wear tonight – guess we’ll just have to wait and see 🙂
