IIFA 2015 has now come to an end, and those of us who weren’t in Malaysia can’t wait till the function is telecast! There was a lot of action that happened onstage that we can’t wait to catch, but there was an equal amount of action that happened backstage – and since MissMalini.com was covering the event live, we’ve got some behind-the-scenes juice to hold you over until you can watch the event on television!
1. Ranveer Singh stood and watched Anushka Sharma‘s performance backstage and clapped and cheered!
2. Neha Dhupia, Vivek Oberoi and Gulshan Grover looked like they were having a blast and spent some time planning what they were going to say together on stage.
3. Malaika Arora Khan looked Swan-like sitting backstage in her white gown and thoroughly enjoyed Hrithik Roshan‘s performance on the screen, clapping and hooting along!
4. Deepika Padukone came by and randomly kissed MissMalini on the cheek while she was kneeling on the floor to interview Malaika Arora Khan. *jealous*

5. Ayushmann Khurrana was practicing his lines for his DDLJ skit with Ranveer and Arjun, and after the bit said he knew it went well because he had butterflies in his stomach. “If you don’t, then you know something is wrong!”

6. Anupam Kher stepped on something then jumped to the ceiling before he realised it was the train of Parineeti Chopra‘s dress! He said, “I thought I saw a snake!”
7. Farhan Akhtar explained that he had just been invited to present the award to Deepika so wasn’t sure what he was going to say but it’s easy to think of good things because it’s Deepika!
8. Deepika Padukone floated elegantly through backstage after her Woman of the Year award with a gaggle of fans in hot pursuit for selfies. She never lost her cool and signed autographs till the moment she got into her car!

9. Hrithik Roshan came backstage to meet the dancers after his performance (as he always does after any show) and he and Shiamak both threw each other mad love. When MissMalini asked him at what moment did he know he was killing it, he said, “The moment I knew Shiamak was choreographing it!”
10. When MissMalini asked Shiamak how it felt to see the dancers he trained from the very beginning – like Shahid Kapoor – get to where they are, he said, “For me they are still my kids, and always will be. I tell them ‘do this, don’t do this!’ Of course I am very proud!”
11. When MissMalini asked Deepika how she felt about Ranveer and Arjun’s hosting she said, “they were amazing and I feel like a proud mama!”

12. When MissMalini asked Arjun Kapoor what the most difficult part of hosting was, he said, “Whenever the teleprompter fails!” And his favorite was Hrithik Roshan’s performance – “It’s probably the first time the hosts have sat in the front row and danced and enjoyed so much!”
13. Lisa Haydon was backstage and went off to grab a bite to eat with her adorable boyfriend Dino. She couldn’t resist telling MissMalini how he’s the cutest. There’s a vlog with his response coming soon!
