Salman Khan has been found guilty under all charges in his 2002 hit-and-run case, which means he can face up to ten years of rigorous imprisonment. However, the court, after convicting Salman, is hearing his lawyers’ arguments on the quantum of punishment. His lawyers have pleaded with the court that he be given a maximum sentence of 2 years, keeping in mind all his “humanitarian work” over the years.
According to reports, the quantum of punishment in the case will be announced tomorrow.
