No-makeup selfies have definitely been doing the rounds for over a year now. In fact, this phenomenon was used to raise millions for cancer research. While we may not be attempting to raise money for a noble cause just yet, we did want to remind ourselves and you that you’re beautiful. We’re all unique, flawless, gorgeous, and beautiful. There, I said it. Far too often, we’re afraid to feel it, say it, or choose it. We brush off compliments, masking insecurities by using insults as coverups. Are you with us?
Team MissMalini was inspired by the recent Dove campaign, a viral video that changed our definition of what beauty is. We work in an industry where we constantly deal with the latest in fashion and makeup. We’re surrounded by gorgeous celebrities and still, sometimes we forget to remind ourselves that without the products, cosmetics, and latest in fashion, we’re still beautiful. So, I asked the girls to take no-makeup selfies and tell me the one thing they find beautiful about themselves. Here are the results.
