ICYMI: The 87th Academy Awards’ red carpet was literally a show in itself. Fashion blogger, Anushka Mulchandani, MissMalini, and I were live-tweeting and we had an exciting morning! We were watching the live red carpet together at 5 AM IST. But a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do, am I right? As beauty blogger, I was reviewing all the wonderful (and some not so wonderful) hair and beauty looks of the night.

1) Emma Stone
We love that Emma Stone is rocking her natural (or at least close-to-natural) red hair! It looks like a bob that has been tucked away on one side, giving it a formal, red carpet feel. The verdict: totally creative and super cute.
2) Marion Cotillard
This classic looking gibson tuck steals the show! We may not have been a fan of her outfit, but her hair and makeup more than makes up for it all.
3) Dakota Johnson
Dakota Johnson stayed to to true to her Fifty Shades Of Grey character with this fringed, simple pony tail. She looks adorable and we love how easy it is.
4) Scarlett Johansson
We know she’s had this buzz cut for a while now, but how amazing is it? This needed a shoutout! It looks even better with a Versace Atelier gown.
5) JLo
Jennifer Lopez is top to toe perfection in this ensemble. Everything from her hair to makeup to dress is killing it. I love how she lets the heavy dress and makeup show with a sleek back, red carpet pony tail. Want the look?

6) Resse Witherspoon
So elegant, so subtle! Reese Witherspoon is rocking natural-looking hair, tucked behind her ears to show her beautiful face, décolletage, and earrings.
7) Chrissy Teigen
While this outfit is a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen, not saying we didn’t love it, her hair is totally on fleek! Is it just me, or does this old Hollywood do remind you a little bit of Khloé Kardashian? It’s definitely the highlights and the blonde! I’m loving the bouncy waves that have been swept to one side!
