We met up with Varun Dhawan, not so long ago, at Mehboob studios, where we had a super insightful chat about his role in Badlapur and everything that went into making it the film it guarantees to be – dark, intensely mysterious and something that will keep you glued to your seats till the very end! In between it all, Varun was sporting enough to answer some of our fun questions (including a lot of your twitter questions) AND he also happened to teach us one of his favourite dance moves! Now since it’s a Saturday and I’m so sure most of you have a night planned out which most probably involves some kind of dancing, we figured we’d take you through a song of Varun’s – Saturday Saturday (how appropriate, right?)! Something simple, and yet one of those repetitive moves you can keep at, all night long!
Take a look at Varun’s fave move and then keep watching for a super simple Bollywood dance Tute on Saturday Saturday!

And there you have it! Now without further ado – even if you didn’t have plans, I think this is the perfect excuse to make plans IMMEDIATELY, and go try out these new moves!
Here’s a fun dance fact for all you dance lovers out there – keep spreading the LOVE!
Ever wondered why people say “break a leg” before a dancer goes on stage? Since the dance world is actually full of superstitions, by saying “break a leg” before a show, people are saying the exact opposite of what they hope will happen on stage! Some dancers have very precise routines for doing their hair or make-up. Others wear certain clothes before a show or keep lucky charms in their dressing rooms or backstage. Before the curtain goes up, some dancers link pinky fingers or step onto the stage with the wrong foot so that when their cue comes, they start the show on the right foot. A little dance knowledge for you to take away. 🙂
Also make sure you check out Varun’s KILLER krumping in Jee Karda from his upcoming film Badlapur!
Till next time,
Happy Dancing!
