Grey Goose is honouring people who have pushed the boundaries in their respective fields on Sunday 16th November. Achievers from all walks of life will come together to celebrate the spirit of Fly Beyond – Grey Goose’s philosophy and identity! The award night is in association with Conde Nast Group and will be filled with glitz and glamour.
Excited by this initiative, we thought, why not draw up our own list of achievers?
There’s inspiration all around for us. Ordinary is just not good enough for some people – they strive for the extraordinary! These are people who choose to go beyond the set norm and tread their own brand new path… people who choose to fly beyond!
Here’s a list of people who have gone beyond and have done it in style:
1. Manish Arora
Manish Arora is easily one of the most recognizable name from the Indian fashion scene globally. He has always reinvented himself. He recently showcased at the Paris Fashion Week and is also the director of the womenswear collection of the French fashion house Paco Rabanne- some of the many feathers in his already loaded hat.
2. Mindy Kaling
Mindy Kaling is bold, beautiful and hilarious. She known for portraying Kelly Kapoor on The Office and creating and starring as Mindy Lahiri in The Mindy Project. Kaling also wrote, was executive producer for and directed various episodes of The Office. She has made it big by herself and she has made it in the industry on her own terms as she dared to fly beyond the set norm. Girl power all the way!
3. Chetan Bhagat
Chetan Bhagat may receive the flak that he does, but the fact of the matter remains that his is a truly inspiring. Not only did he start the revolution of writing in a way that is understandable and accessible to one and all, he is definitely the most successful author in India – and his stories have also been adapted to superhit films. Currently, he is all set to debut as a Bollywood producer in the film adaptation of his book Half Girlfriend. Clearly, he’s doing something right!
4. A R Rahman
What can we possibly say about this music maestro that has not already been said? A R Rahman and his music go beyond what anyone can fathom. Fame, money, accolades and a place in people’s hearts forever, Rahman has got it all!
5. Rohit Sharma
The man of the moment: Indian batsman Rohit Sharma made the world record of the highest individual ODI score of 264 against Sri Lanka in Kolkata yesterday. Way to go, Rohit!
