It’s Bigg Boss season again! The most entertaining and controversial show on the tube ever is gearing up for its 8th season that goes on air on the 21st of September. The makers have released a series of promos that have only gotten us most excited and intrigued. There’s a lot of buzz surrounding the show as usual; from wishlists to tentative lists; Bigg Boss 8 is all everyone is talking about.
Each season comes with a crazy mix of characters locked up together. Obviously enough, we always have at least one psycho that is unleashed onto us each season. Well, let’s take a walk down memory lane and look at the 9 biggest drama queens that Bigg Boss gave to the world.
1. Rakhi Sawant
The inaugural season of Bigg Boss also became Rakhi Sawant’s claim to fame. Her English, her love for ‘Jejus’, all her antics… basically all that you know Rakhi Sawant for today, you have Bigg Boss to thank!
2. Kashmira Shah
Also featured in season 1, Kashmira Shah deserves a special mention as she manages to make it to the list even though Rakhi Sawant was in the house with her! Such was her talent that she became a household name, courtesy her catfights with Rakhi!
3. Sambhavna Seth
The Bhojpuri item girl used the choicest of abuses sandwiched between all her sentences. Season 2 was almost like a screaming match between her and the rest of the contestants.
4. Raja Chaudhary
Raja Chaudhary was on season 2 with Sambhavna and gave her full competition in the drama queen department. Somehow, in a twisted change of scenario, they both actually got intimate by the end of it. Raja, the self proclaimed recovering alcoholic actually finished first runner up of the season.
5. KRK
The man who is now a ‘celebrity’ courtesy his Twitter account is the first man in the history of Bigg Boss to have been evicted on the grounds of violence in the house. Verbal abuse by day, flinging bottles at Rohit Verma by night… this pretty much sums of KRK’s stay in the house in season 3.
6. Dolly Bindra
Dolly Bindra’s existence in the house in season 4 wasn’t only irksome because of her hideous dressing sense but because how crass the woman was! She actually set a benchmark for psycho, as whoever post season 4 behaved strange, was always called ‘The Dolly Bindra’ of that season. Veena Mallik also shone in this season as a drama queen, just not the same genre. She does deserve an obligatory mention though.
7. Pooja Mishra
Pooja Mishra came in season 5 and gave us the catch phrase ‘Spare me!’ on the tube! She was often called ‘The Dolly Bindra of Season 5’ and followed KRK’s footsteps into being chucked out of the house on grounds of violence. The babe surely chose her gurus well.
8. Imam Siddiqui
Imam Siddiqui, in season 6, gave new meaning to the phrase ‘ape shit crazy!’ Talking of phrases, he also introduced “Time Out!’ on the tube. Showing up in nude body suits, scaring contestants, calling himself a haivaan and even having a showdown with Salman Khan, Imam has done it all!
9. Armaan Kohli
Armaan Kohli is proof that women are attracted to all kinds of weirdos. Case in point : Tanishaa Mukerji. He wasn’t so much a drama queen as he was angry in the last season. Well, he did fall in love with Tanishaa on the show, but, from what we hear, that relationship is ending soon. We can only imagine how mad that must be making Kohli! Shudders.
We cannot wait for this season’s lot of crazy ones!
