There has been a lot said and done regarding Shah Rukh Khan‘s youngest child, AbRam. He was in the midst of controversies much before he was born and it’s only natural for any parent to turn super protective. Our very own SRK is no different. If you’ve been waiting to catch a glimpse of his tiny tot, you, my friend, are going to have to wait a lot longer because it aint happening anytime soon!
SRK recently came clean to the media about AbRam and why he’s been kept away from the limelight. This is what he said, “He is not meant for flashbulbs. I don’t want him to be a participant in this circus of public life that I am a part of. That is what I do… Public life… The good, bad, ugly, goodness of media, the strangeness… I am part of it, not my children.” He also went on to add, “I am not overtly happy talking about him. He is my baby and nobody else’s. You can come home and see him if I allow you to come in my house.”
AbRam was a premature baby born at 34 weeks of pregnancy and as we all know, has spent most of his time after birth at the hospital. This being the case, it’s not surprising that the controversy around the baby disturbed King Khan. “It is one of the only things that has made me uncomfortable in my career is you take on a child who is sick when he was born and make it an issue… I find it very disgraceful. I am a movie star, disgrace me but not my kids,” he said. The doting father went on to add, “I did not like that fact when the media spoke about the surrogacy. I hate it. They said I had sex determination test, which was rubbish. I am too educated to be indulging in this non-sense. He was suffering… He was ill and people were talking about sex determination just because he is the child of a famous movie star.”
On a lighter note, he spoke about how much him and everybody around absolutely adore AbRam, “He is very sweet, beautiful and pretty looking. He is a pleasant child. He brings lot of cheer and happiness. It is great fun to be with him. Everyone wants to be with him. There is so much innocence and love in the baby… He is very sweet. The kids like him… I like him.”
Don’t worry, SRK! We completely understand and respect your privacy. Here’s hoping that at some point when he’s ready, we get to see this bundle of joy. What do you guys think about this? Is it time he gets his much needed privacy?
