Earlier, Industrywalla leaked to you two pictures on sets of the Awari song from Ek Villain, featuring Prachi Desai. This song appears during a pivotal scene in the post-interval portion of the film, and as you can see from the video, it’s not your typical item number – which is exactly what the makers were trying to avoid. Instead, they wanted it to be “tender” and “vulnerable,” which is why director Mohit Suri thought Prachi would fit the bill. Check out the song and let us know whether you agree!
I really like this track, which has been composed by Rabbi Ahmed and Adnan Dhool of the Pakistani band, Soch. It has been sung by Adnan and Momina Mustehsan.
In the video, you can also catch glimpses of Riteish Deshmukh‘s character’s relationship with his wife, played by Aamna Sharif. Industrywalla told you earlier that she would have a role in the film, which is quite surprising since she and producer Ekta Kapoor were previously said to be not on that great of terms.
Interestingly, this time, when Shraddha Kapoor calls out “aye villain” in the last shot, it is lead actor Sidharth Malhotra turning around. Previously, that shot featured Riteish Deshmukh.
What do you think of Awari? Like it?
