Last week, MissMalini gave you a sneak peek into this lovely new place, The Bombay Bronx. It is definitely the new destination for anyone who enjoys an entertaining ambiance. If you like quirk and Bombay design elements in a bar, this place is perfect. It is a love ode to this happening city.
And we didn’t forget about you selfie addicts, this place is your dream come true. Take the half autorickshaw at the entrance or the Mumbai Local train booth for instance. Typical posters cladding the walls give a refreshing glimpse of a Mumbaikar’s daily grind. Everything about this place is a reminder of the little things in our daily lives as Mumbaikars.
There’s also a long community table inspired by the Mumbai Dabbawalas, covered with a beautiful installation of pigeons entangled in barbwires. A railway map and the famous mutton street map can be spotted on the ceiling. Cinema buffs, the huge painting of Amitabh Bachchan on the wall will immediately call out to you. The apparatus of the bar is Mumbai style as well. The bill folder is a bus ticket and the paper napkin holder is a BEST bus. And look, they are so serious about your feedback!
If the ambience is Mumbaiya, so is the food! Get your Bombay Vada Pav, Bombay Sandwich, Dhokla Pakoda, Kebabs, Naan pizzas and much more here. Even the drinks are Mumbai based, like the Aam Panna Margarita, Kokam Sour, Pani Puri Caipirjka and Iced Peru. Also, the twisted Tangy Imli Mojito is a must try from the drinks menu.
We know you need good music to enjoy the food and the ambience. You will find the latest Bill Board hits, hip-hop, rock and English commercial music here. Interestingly, The Bombay Bronx will never let you leave empty handed as it brings back the Bombay Lottery, Pataka Lottery and Bonanza lottery for the people who love to live life Mumbai ishtyle!
Wouldn’t you love to hang out at a place like this where your daily encounters are jazzed up with cocktails and music? We had fun and so will you!
