With the season finale looming over our heads, we already have a bout of withdrawal symptoms. We might even go extra dramatic and as far as to say that life won’t be the same without catching the show every week and feeling like a part of a gang that’s stuck around for about 9 years of our lives.
As the show reaches its ultimate finale this Tuesday, here are a bunch of things we are going to miss about our favourite five-some (not to mention MacLarens, we’re missing that already!)
Read At Your Own Risk: We apologise if this is a bit soppy, but we’re genuinely going to miss this!
Marshall Eriksen
Apart from the unpredictable slaps for Barney, Marshall always came off as the sweet soft-spoken husband. His want to become an environmental lawyer, his love for Lily (even when he finds out she’s spending crazy amounts of money on designer clothes) and yes, his baby Marvin – ladies, if you’re looking for the perfect guy, haavee you met Marshall?
Lily Aldrin
Everyone knows she can’t keep a secret, but Lily somehow was always the all-knowing. She always had the right advice, and yes, she might have (one time too many) admitted that she was attracted to Robin, but hey, who wouldn’t be?
Barney Stinson
‘Suit-Up’, ‘The Playbook’, the ducky tie, his multiple designer suits and his big bucks making job doing what again? Need we say anymore about Barney? Oh yeah, he’s obviously legen wait-for-it dary.
Robin Scherbatsky
We’re not going to lie; Lily isn’t the only one who’s had a girl-crush on Robin. She’s strong, independent and her no-nonsense attitude made every guy want her and every girl want to be her.
Ted Mosby
We think Ted was the glue that held everyone together. He bounced back from his ex-girlfriend marrying his best friend and getting left at the alter; we were so excited when they finally revealed ‘The Mother’ but, we wish he could’ve waited just a bit longer to find her just so the show would go on.
So tell us, who was your favorite and how much are you going to miss them?
Don’t forget to catch the show this Tuesday, 10pm on Star World (Heads up: it’s a double episode! Yaay!)
