Sajid Khan, who has delivered several hits in the past, believes his upcoming Himmatwala will cross 100 cr in the first week itself, because he doesn’t have the potential to make a flop. Overconfident, much? Actually, he says he has a reason for it:
Sajid Khan says: “I can’t say I am a great director but I am the greatest audience. Since childhood I have done nothing other than watching films. Cinema is my life. I can never make a flop film because I make film for audience and not for myself.”
I get his drift, but don’t think that liking films automatically means being able to make audience-appreciated films – if so, a lot more directors would be successful today. I mean, positivity is always a good thing (even Ajay Devgn says he likes that about him); I just hope Sajid doesn’t end up putting his foot in his mouth later!
