While discussion has been rife about whether Shah Rukh Khan or the MCA officials were right in the whole Wankhede controversy, an eyewitness has stepped up to give his account on what really happened that night.
As per Rediff, a 14-year-old boy who was present at the stadium said SRK only lost his cool when his daughter was pushed by MCA officials. Apparently, the young boys with Shah Rukh were being manhandled by security, but it was only when they started behaving the same way with the girl children did SRK react.
The boy also notes that the MCA officials were drunk (and not SRK as per earlier reports) and upset because their favoured team Mumbai Indians lost a crucial match to Shah Rukh’s Kolkata Knight Riders. Says the boy’s father, “The cooked up allegations by the MCA officials have taught these kids that lies are a way of life, that truth never wins in the face of absolute power.”
