Soha Parekh has just launched her coffee table book called Sari: Splendor in Thread, where she shows the true beauty behind the making the nine yard Indian wonder. While I feel most comfy in my jeans and tees (and those LBD), I have to say, looking at these gorgeous saree clad ladies that came for the event, it made me want to brave it and wear one to work.
Showing support for the book was Shobhaa De, who since the beginning of her career has been known to wear the saree. It great that we in India do take pride in our traditional garments, and now we have a book on everything that the saree stands for.
