And so, after much planning, plotting, co-ordination and excitement, Miss Malini’s Cointreauversial Party at Blue Frog in Mumbai, got off to a fabulous start. Malini’s celebrity friends braved the infamous Mumbai Monsoons and dressed-up to the hilt, making the party a super success.
Adhuna Akhtar’s b:blunt salon pampered everyone with funky hair and make-up at the party where her fabulous and affable team took great thrills in adding a blush-stroke here or a colourful feather there to enhance the style of the guests.
And if that was not enough, Team MissMalini had even laid out an assortment of hats, party glares, disco bracelets, feather boas and faux smoking pipes for the guests to further accessorize themselves with.
Of course, the results were terrific. For instance, girl-around-town Priya Ramkissoon ended up looking like singer Grace Jones (below)
Even Rishab from Cointreau (below) looked snazzy with a penciled-in moustache and a lovely bow-tie by Urvashe…!
Dilip Joshi, the CEO of Zinc was sporty enough to don a hat and a mask….
and actor Akshay Oberoi also dabbled in a bit of costume drama….
Songstress Manasi Scott chose a dress with a plunging neckline by the fabulous couturier Manish Arora….
….and actress Shonali Nagarani also wore a lovely top with lots of cleavage which she, “Picked up from a high-street boutique in London’s Covent Garden.”
Shweta Salve’s hottest accessory for the evening was her arm-candy -boyfriend Hermit Sethi….
and actress/designer Shama Sikandar had two hotties for company – Alexx O’Neil and Hanif Hilal.
Milena Raskovic looked pretty in yellow….
…while Narendra Kumar Ahmed sportingly had a Dali-esque mustache draw on his upper lip.
We loved the purple tights that Juhi Pande wore below her top (not visible in the pic). She’s one stylish cutey who would melt any number of hearts.
Farid Currim sportingly wore a party top-hat and looked all-set to sit in the Royal Box at the Derby races…
The MissMalini team also dressed-up to the hilt for this amazing party. Shamita Kadle was all dressed for the Oscar Awards…
while Dhruvi Shah enjoyed a b:blunt make-over and cute feathers in her hair.
I wore a Christain Audigier tee-shirt and Diesel jeans with bright orange glasses (in keeping with the “orange” spirit of Cointreau).
Even Riddhima Sinha took time off from her baby to dress ravishingly hot for the Conitreauversial Party. She looked quite the yummy-mummy!
