The Sula Wine Festival 2011 was a HUGE success, with I think several thousand more people than last year! I must admit I wouldn’t have minded it a little emptier myself, but I suppose everyone deserves a little fun in the sun 🙂 once a again a super line up including Tough on Tobacco, Something Relevant, Petri Dish Project (with Anushka Manchanda Suman Shridhar and Monica Dongra, Pentegram, Midival Punditz some Lavani dancers and a killer Nashik Dhol troupe. The only wtf moment I had was when a somewhat manic female stand up comic took the the stage and proceeded to bark at the crowd that heckled her off eeks, (luckily I have decided to spare you most of that footage!) As usual the party continued on into the wee hours with Rajeev Samant’s rocking after party and we even made a quick stop for lunch on the way back at the Tiger Hills winery (more pix here.) Oh we even did a post on sulafest fashion for Vogue.in here!
