Psst! Tonight I discovered a superb spot to watch the FIFA World Cup games in Mumbai tonight (yup even the late ones) Blue Frog, Lower Parel not only has cable (so no tragic Tata Sky syndrome. Like seriously? Way to drop the ball on that one, in a city where it rains 4 months of the year shouldn’t someone have thought this through?! Some how Iran TV online didn’t quite have the same resolution!) but stays open till the end of the last game every night. They even have bean bags, dual screens so you can keep track of BOTH matches and get a super deal on pitchers of beer (or pints of Carlsberg.) So I’ll see you there for Slovenia v/s England and USA v/s Algeria at 7:30pm Mumbai time? After which DJ Drama plans to take over and rock the party.
(By the way here’s a complete list of footie friendly clubs but beware some of them shut shop at 1-1:30am so call first and check.)
P.S. I gotta say, my Tresmode Wellis are awesome (for this mausam.)
Um… also did anyone else feel like the Greeks fell over a lot tonight? Their poor goalie Tzorvas was justifiably pissed. I meanwhile spent a lot of time being terribly amused by the funny commentators and the 5 syllables in Papadopoulos’ name. (Yes I’m a child.) Ooooh and who else saw that random topless dude with a shield in the crowd clearly there supporting Sparta?! Hilarious. Can’t wait to get you more candid pics live from the stadium next week. Woohoo South Africa here I come…
P.S. If its not so much the football but the liquid lava you’re all about then check this out! 999rs for an entire bottle of Smirnoff and 6 Redbulls at the ManU Cafe (I’ve seen this up at Hype too I think) Sweeeeet!
