Wow. Its been a while since I’ve rocked out like I did last night! You know the kind of evening where the last few hours are a blur and you can’t remember how you got home? Yup, that kind. From pre-drinks at Ash Chandler’s (who’s back and doing Bollywood by the way) to the Elite Model Management 2010 Calendar launch at Olive, Bandra and finally dancing up a storm at China House till 4am courtesy DJ Ankit (awesome House DJ from Nepal.) Quite the party hop! Luckily in the process I managed to hit up some of Mumbai’s glitterati for a “byte” or two… Love that when I asked Arjun Rampal for one at Olive he said, “you want me to bite you?” Epic (and kinda Twilight-ish now that I think about it!)
Stop # 1 Ash Chandler’s swanky pad in Bandra. He’s back from Los Angeles and planning to stick around, I even got a life update from him for my vlogs on Desi Hits! By the way his better half Junelia Aguiar (who is the sweetest girl in the whole world, no kidding) is coming out with a line of clothing soon, I’m really excited about this for two reasons 1) she’s awesome 2) finally cute clothes in extra extra small! (P.S. The outfit I’m wearing is by Reshma Bombaywala and I love it, matching bag and all I forgot to take a picture but next time!)
Stop # 2 was Olive (Bandra, Mumbai) where Sushma Puri hosted the Elite Model Management 2010 Calendar launch, man that place was PACKED. Plus everyone was doing the big squeeze to the bar and back (aka free-mass-public-full-body-massage!) FYI Internationally renowned Slovakian photographer Martin Machaj shot the Elite calendar in and around Mandawa. I’ve been super bold by the way and now just go up to people and ask for footage, I hope you know I do it all for you!
Psst! Funny thing was that at the Calendar launch everyone was so busy having a good time they actually forgot what the party was for (always a sign of a well-exploited open bar!) but if you’re going to be a space cadet about it, you gotta do it the Arjun Rampal way, he’s just so McDreamy in general that you kinda love him for it 🙂

Stop # 3 was China House where I felt like utter royalty thanks to Anupam Sehgal (talk about PR skills!) Thank you Anupam we had a BLAST! And like I said DJ Ankit was the bomb but truth be told I’m still a DJ Clement fan, if you’re all about the music follow him this New Years Eve, I think he’ll be spinning at the Taj President but I’ll keep you posted. (I know, I know I’m late on that New Year’s Eve party round-up but its coming, I promise!)
And tonight it’s off to the Tasting Room as Rajeev Samant celebrates 10 years of Sula wines after popping in to the Channel [v] office party at H20 and Sophie Choudry’s album launch at Puro. plus I’m finally gonna go check out Timmy Narang’s newly reopened club called Three Flights Up (remember that?) He’s promised me a tour and there will be video 🙂 Its also the venue for Sajjid & Laveena Mitha’s 13th wedding anniversary and I gotta say, I have never met a couple (still) so in love in my life! They’re always affectionate, still hold hands all the time and you get that warm and fuzzy feeling just being around them; how do they do it? No idea, but I plan to take notes 🙂
