Seriously I’m beginning to think this might be some kind of crazy conspiracy to blow my mind, that or Mallika Sherawat has some seriously wicked PR skills. Remember her new found friendships with Oprah Winfrey and Usher? Well guess who just became the most recent addition to that list? The 54-year-old Greek legend Yanni! How weird is that. Right?!
He dedicated his new song “Changes” to her at the “Yanni Voices” concert in Los Angeles. In front of a crowd of 7,000 music enthusiasts Yanni announced, “This one is for you Mallika.”As you can see from the video clip she was loving it and jumped up to accept the honor, despite the fact that a lot of the audience had no idea who she was (or maybe that’s why?) Granted this happens to also be the first time that Yanni has dedicated his composition to anyone. Apparently he did a solo gig for her post the concert as well!
I hear they met in LA for post-production of her forthcoming film Hisss. But they’ve also exchanged tweets on the micro-blogging website Twitter. According to the sources, Yanni invited Mallika to attend his LA concert, to which coyly replied that she would, provided he dedicate a song to her. The video screens showed images of Yanni’s performance in India at the Taj Mahal in March 1997 during the performance.
Of course Mallika couldn’t stop gushing about it (and rightly so) on her Twitter page (which has the creepiest picture of her on display btw!)
